- 401(k) savings program
Administered by The Principal Financial Group, whose financial professionals will partner with you to help identify your financial goals and allow you to plan for your retirement accordingly. LRN offers a company match of 100% of your contributions up to 6% of your base salary. The funds can be allocated into a variety of investment funds with different levels of risk. You are always 100% vested in the contributions you make and you become vested in the company match at 25% after each full year of service with 100% vesting after four years.
- Affordable health care coverage
Our LRN colleagues have access to comprehensive medical coverage with a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan through United Healthcare (UHC). Colleagues in California also have the option of a health maintenance organization (HMO) plan through PacifiCare.
- Dental coverage
The Freedom-of-Choice dental plan through Aetna gives you the option to participate in either a DMO-style plan or a PPO-style plan. When you enroll, you elect the plan in which you want to participate.
- Vision coverage
LRN provides this valuable benefit to colleagues and their eligible dependents through VSP and their network of providers to cover annual vision exams, lenses and frames.
- Life, accident, and disability insurance
LRN provides this important coverage to colleagues at no cost. Basic life insurance coverage is equal to your annual salary. This employer paid benefit also includes AD&D, long-term and short-term disability coverage.
- Flexible spending accounts
To take advantage of tax savings and lower your taxable income, LRN offers flexible spending accounts with the Unreimbursed Medical Plan and Dependent Day Care Spending Accounts.
- Educational assistance
LRN encourages colleagues to expand their professional knowledge and expertise and will provide financial assistance for some classes and seminars related to their scope of work.
- Vacation
LRN understands how important it is for employees to take some time away from work for rest and relaxation, to recharge their batteries, and spend time with their friends and family. LRN full-time employees accrue vacation pay beginning with their first pay period on a prorated basis, at the rate of three weeks per year.
