Former U.S. senator Bill Bradley joins the board of directors of LRN

LOS ANGELES, CA—October 11, 2005—LRN, a provider of legal, compliance, ethics management and corporate governance solutions, today announced the appointment of Bill Bradley, former three-term U.S. Senator, 2000 candidate for President of the United States and a managing director of Allen & Company LLC, to the LRN Board of Directors. Senator Bradley brings more than 30 years of experience as a public official and business leader to LRN.

In addition to Allen & Company LLC, Senator Bradley, from 2001 - 2004, was chief outside advisor to McKinsey & Company's non-profit practice and he remains a member of the International Council of J.P. Morgan & Company Inc. Senator Bradley served in the U.S. Senate representing the state of New Jersey for 18 years and was a candidate for the 2000 Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Prior to serving in the Senate, he was an Olympic gold medalist and a professional basketball player for the New York Knicks during which he helped the team win two NBA championships. Senator Bradley has authored five books on American politics, culture and economy and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Seagate Technology, Starbucks Coffee Company and Willis Group Holdings Limited. Currently, Senator Bradley hosts American Voices , a weekly show on Sirius Satellite Radio that highlights the remarkable accomplishments of Americans both famous and unknown.
