Cheryl Curran joins LRN as vice president of marketing

LOS ANGELES—April 20, 2007—LRN, a leading provider of ethics and compliance insights, approaches and tools, today announced that Cheryl Curran has joined as Vice President of Marketing. 

Curran is responsible for increasing the company’s visibility and supporting LRN’s growth strategy. She is leading a team responsible for global marketing strategies and positioning for LRN, including the company's brand awareness, lead generation, advertising and events.  In addition, she is managing a product marketing team, responsible for aligning LRN’s product offerings with the evolving needs of the marketplace.

Curran has more than 20 years of related experience.  Most recently she was Chief Marketing Officer at OneSource, an InfoUSA company, where she focused on global marketing strategies and positioning.  Previously she was Senior Vice President of strategic marketing for the Thomson Corporation's Business Intelligence Services, where she was responsible for marketing, corporate communications, product management, content development, as well as sales operations, custom solutions and implementations. In addition, she has held positions of increasing responsibility at Iridium LLC, Electronic Data Systems and Memorex Telex.
