Navistar and LRN partner on comprehensive legal, compliance and ethics education

WARRENVILLE, IL and LOS ANGELES, CA—January 31, 2005—Navistar International Corporation® (NYSE: NAV), T he nation's largest combined commercial truck, school bus and mid-range diesel engine producer, and LRN, the provider of online legal, compliance and ethics education and corporate governance services, announced today that they have reached a multiyear agreement to provide the Navistar workforce with a legal and ethics awareness education program through the LRN Legal Compliance and Ethics Center™ (LCEC®).

LRN will provide Navistar with a diverse curriculum from the LCEC education and communication system, including a custom online course created from the company's Code of Ethics. Additional versions of key courses will be created with localized language translations in Spanish, Portuguese and French-Canadian for Navistar employees working outside the United States .
