Los Angeles, June 5, 2009Axiom Business Book Awards recently recognized "HOW: Why How We Do Anything Means Everything…in Business (and in Life)" (John Wiley & Sons; June 2007), by Dov Seidman, CEO, chairman and founder of – a company that helps businesses develop – with a gold medal in the Business Books category.

The second annual awards program, sponsored by Jenkins Group, Independent Publishers and Inc. magazine, honors innovative, intelligent and creative books that make people think, see and work differently. Books are judged on first impression, design, originality, use of language, message delivery and relevance.

" won the gold because of the way Dov Seidman combines great storytelling with great information," says Jim Barnes, Axiom Business Book Awards Director. "His insightful look at is presented in a very readable style that entertains while it informs."

In HOW: Why How We Do Anything Means Everything…in Business (and in Life), Seidman shows that prosperity, security, and lasting achievement are found not in out-performing the competition but out-behaving them. Moving beyond the go-go attitude of "just do it," in HOW, Seidman examines the importance of just doing it right.

HOW has been recognized as a best business and leadership book by several organizations since its publication in 2007. The premise is featured as one of the nine rules for companies to embrace in Thomas L. Friedman’s seminal book, The World is Flat. Further, the HOW philosophy is featured in Friedman's new book, Hot, Flat and Crowded, in which Seidman calls for a green revolution through a strategy of outgreening the competition – where leaders and employees find advantage by keeping green top of mind in everything they do and in how they go about doing it. HOW was also selected as one of the best business books of 2007 by Soundview Executive Book Summaries and Leadership Now.
