LRN CEO Dov Seidman to deliver keynote address at council of state governments forum

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 29, 2006 – LRN, a leading provider of governance, ethics and compliance management applications and services, today announced that CEO and Chairman Dov Seidman will deliver the keynote address at the Council of State Governments Annual State Trends and Leadership Forum, being held November 30 through December 3 in Phoenix, Arizona.

In his speech, Seidman will discuss the forces that have placed unprecedented focus on ethics and integrity in government, and throughout our society.  Drawing on his personal experience advising some of the world’s most prominent companies and their boards, Seidman will demonstrate the parallels between ethical conduct in business and government. Seidman will argue that government officials and entities who embrace principled conduct are the ones who will earn the public’s trust, win the hearts and minds of voters and establish lasting legacies.

Seidman’s keynote address opens the conference, held annually by the Council of State Governments to provide officials, private sector partners and staff from all three branches of government and every region of the country with a forum to interact and share solutions. The Council of State Governments, founded in 1933, maintains offices throughout the country that staff regional associations of legislative and executive elected officials. More information about the 2006 Annual State Trends and Leadership Conference is available at: http://www.csg.org/meetings/annual.aspx

Seidman is a frequent speaker on how corporate leaders can promote responsible conduct in their business. In 2004, he testified before the U.S. Sentencing Commission about the need for companies to encourage cultures that self regulate based on shared corporate values rather than relying on compliance-only programs. Today, companies are measured against this higher standard.
